Grace's first day of Preschool

Grace at home on her first day of school. So excited to go to school. She wanted to leave way early so we went outside for some picture opportunities.
Not very happy about me taking her picture in front of her school next to the statue of Mary. She wanted to go play on the playground and everyone was looking at her. Climbing at the preschool playground before her first day of school.
Not being very happy about me taking her picture during circle time.
Grace had her first day of preschool on September 1st. She was really excited to go to school that day and told me to leave after we got there and got her in the class. The parents got to stay awhile and get some pictures and watch the kids sit in circle time for the first time and then we left. I think Grace was ready for me to leave before she even sat down. And she did not want me to take her picture in the classroom or outside of the classroom as you can see in a couple of the pictures. She really loved school the first couple weeks and was ready for me to leave everytime. Now she is having an attachment issue, but as soon as I walk out the door she is fine. Not sure what that is all about, but it's getting quite annoying when I have Eli to deal with at the same time. We had our first parent/teacher conference and the teacher said she was doing well except for the sharing of toys occasionally and that she loved to help in the classroom especially with clean up time. She loves playing house and cooking the fake food. She now knows the letters A and B which is a step up from knowing no letters I suppose. Although apparently not nearly as advanced as some of her friends who can name all the letters and even read some words. But, I say let her have her childhood. She has plenty of time to learn how to read.
