In July we went to Pike's Peak with Doug's parents and his grandma Mary. It snowed while we were there and the kids had fun walking around when we got to the top. It was a pretty good view but not nearly as scary of a drive as going up to Mt. Evans. We also went to the zoo, tiny town and a couple other attractions around town while they were here visiting. It was a busy couple of weeks, but the kids always love having their grandparents here especially when they get lots of extra attention and gifts and candy are included! :) We also got to celebrate Eli's birthday with them while they were here. Overall it was a great visit. We love having family come visit and can't wait for the next trip back home to visit everyone.
